PAID IN FULL. A story of kindness

One day, a poor boy called Sandeep was selling goods door to door to pay his way through school. he found that he had only one rupee left. Sandeep was very hungry and desperately wanted to eat some food. He decided to ask for a meal at the next house.

Sandeep arrived at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of  a meal, Sandeep asked for a glass of water. She though he looked hungry so she brought him a large glass  of milk.

Sandeep drank it slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you?" "You don't owe me anything," she replied. "Mother has taught us never to accept pay for showing kindness to other people." "Then I thank you from my heart," he said.

As Sandeep left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man became stringer too. He was almost ready to give up and quit because he wasn't getting enough money.
Year's later that young woman who had show kindness to Sandeep became critically ill. The local doctors were confused. They could not cure her illness. Her family finally sent her to a huge hospital in a big city, where they called in specialists to study her disease.

A doctor was called in for consulaton. When he heard the name of the town the woman had come from, a strange light filled his eyes Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to get room. Dressed in his doctor's gown he went to see her. He recognised her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to the case.

After a long struggle, the battle was won. The doctor requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to the lady's room. When the lady received the bill, she feared to open it. She was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally, she opened it, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill. She began t read the following words:

"PAID IN FULL WITH ONE GLASS OF MILK."
Signed, Dr. Sandeep

The lady's eyes were filled with tears. She immediately realised that Dr. Sandeep was young boy to whom she had given a glass of milk many decades ago.

CARRY OUT A RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS, WITH NO EXPECTATION OF REWARD, SAFE I THE KNOWLEDGE THAT ONE DAY SOMEONE MIGHT DO THE SAME FOR YOU.
